Is my car totaled? I was hit by a drunk in an F250 the other night and it messed up the fender in front of the driver door. The rim was bent in at the top and the unibody in front and on top of the fenderwell is bent not alot but enough to tell. Do you think the ins. will total it? If they do Can you say C5 zo6 
Man with the tools they've got today who knows. It will be up to the ins company if its totaled. Bottom line IS the bottom line. And they will do what is in their best intrest, and unfortunatly, not yours. I do speak from experience. Had to sue them to get the ball rolling. What a shame and a sham.

It depends on what your car is worth, and what the damage is going to cost. That is how they are going to figure it. I dont know the extent of the damage but i would think they might try to fix it. but with the unibody being bent hopefully it is enough.
sounds like the same **** that happened to me but mine wasn't declared totalled. Instead the guys insurance has already payed 10,000 in repairs and when i saw it last, there were metal bars all across the front with ruler marking on them and such. It's been a month, i just wish they would finish it soon!

I ony have 15 more payments and i really dont want to start over. Ive put alot of money in to the car for suspension, rear end trans and some motor stuff. I have abou 375 hp (on a 75 shot) and went 12.01 cant remember the mph. Im computer stupid and dont know how to post pics. Ill get my sister to load them for me some time soon.
my Z was totalled and i didnt even have frame damage, state farm would only use gm factory parts so a new front bumper hood and fenders was like $3k not to mention they were going to buy new 18 inch y2ks from gm for $1100 a piece lol. i should have bought it back, buy back was sonly $2500 but the body shop wanted to charge me a $50 a day storage fee so i said screw it and bought another ls1
state farm is doin mine too, i can't believe mine didn't get totaled, i guess it may have been if they had to replace the hood, i think it's like $1,000 from gm. If they already spent $10,000; i'm sure mine was close to being totalled.
I went and looked at it again today, they only have one guy workin on it for part of a day so i still have another month. LAME
