The rear itself isn't causing the wheel hop, it's your rear suspension.

i also bought my car from carmax. i had a little clunk noise when i would turn my car, took it in and they had it all fixed. so pretty happy with my service. i would suggest going in there with white polish all over windshield with yur 1/4 mile time and see what they say!!

Yeah so I got the car back and had it for days abd had to give it back. Now the assend feels like it is about to fall off and the brakes (rear) sound really bad. On top of that the car now dies while driving down the road. It comes back on but all the gauges filp out and will work again. Doing this ever so offten. WTF?

well i could do the swap for about half that price.also have a eaton posi unit that i am not using right now.going with a 12 bolt now
