Dave...those "old tymers" that have the 10, 9 and 8 second "street legal" cars never come out cause they are FULL OF ****....My brother has a 2 car garage with about 8-9 second cars sitting there

I have videos upon videos on my kills on the street...guess what...Im unbeaten on the street....

On the strip....I have made about 100 passes in all 3 of my vettes with about a 75% win average with 24% of the losses being driver error...leaving 1% for the ******* tubbed out NOS monsters that cream me....

Get this thread off of what my car can and cant do and get back to our meets please!!!

Adam, I deleted my post because I did not want to have this turn into a internet arguement over who's wennie is bigger.

I have to say I have seen Adams car and it is very nice and fast.

However the king of the south NO WAY...

There are cars here in Waco alone that can put down a serious beating.
Back in the real street racing days we had cars comming out that could bust a 9 second slip at the track and still lay the whooping down on the street.

My SS was a full weight street car that weighed 3500lbs with AC and all. Still put down a 10.16 running out of gear. There are cars alot faster than that running around.

Its just all of us old timers dont come out and hang out like we use to.

As far as The race between Adam and Ray. A race is a race. Its all about the first one to the finish line. They could always rematch....

Rays car had tranny problems as well from what I understand. But thats the name of the game. I do know his car is sitting back at John Goebels getting the tranny redone.I think you and Ray should take it back to the track and lay it back down again.

Remember there is always someone faster.

Just because most of the old timers are not into street racing anymore does not mean that they are not around.

Think what you want but there around. Takeing a chance on killing someone or hitting a innocent bystander is to big of a chance to take. Most of us old guys are not young and daring like we use to be.

As far as how this post got off track...
I read back and in this post Ray was talking about the tracks. Then he did in around about way contesting the remark of you haveing the fastest car around here. Then someone said he should race you which he replied he did and one both times.. This is not something that should be taken like someone just stole your girlfriend.
