One of the ladies at work has a new C230, it's a peice of ****. It's already been back to the dealership 3 times, I heard her talking to the dealership the other day she told them if had to go back 1 more time they could keep it.

Talk to a European and he'll tell you its the most reliable car ever made
But from my own experience, I've seen alot of people spend ALOT of money on those cars.
If it were me buying a luxury car, I'd bypass Mercedes and get a Lexus.
If I'm going to pay alot for a car, I want it to at least be reliable.
Sedans most likely to send you back to the dealer. Worst performer first.
1.) Mercedes-Benz - S-Class - $100,000
2.) Jaguar - S-Type - $51,000
3.) BMW - 7 Series - $94,000
4.) Jaguar - X-Type - $33,000
5.) Mercedes-Benz - E-Class - $64,000
6.) Mercedes-Benz - C-Class (V6) - $40,000
7.) Volvo - S60 (AWD) - $32,000
8.) Saab - 9-3 - $35,000
9.) Pontiac - Grand Prix - $25,000
10.) Volkswagen - Passat (AWD) - $28,000

"In one sense, luxury cars have difficulties with reliability ratings because their owners have higher expectations for the vehicles and are more likely to complain when things go wrong."

i think the price is too high. i used to drive these cars all the time (i used to valet) and the c class mercedes is not impressive at all. its very slow and feels sluggish. u hit the gas and 3 seconds later the car moves. and trust me working as a valet we really "tested" these cars out 4 our customers. (on a side note: never valet, on a rainy night i once did a 180 stand still turn in a vette) a newer e class is bad ***, and the s class is king. the clk is nice. the slk=****. if i were u i would drive a bmw b4 u buy that mercedes. bmw's are honostly the nicer of all luxury cars. it responds better than benz, it handles better, and i think they look way nicer. a 3 series is very nice. the 5 series nicer. u should be able to find a nice 3 series 4 less. thats just my .02 though.

After reading that I'll never valet park my car again! im serious. never! EVER!!!!! valet ur car!
it was fun. drove lots of porshe. a few vipers. once a lambo. an older ferrari. the cadi roadster when it first came out. a lot full of mustangs, very few birds and maros. a ton of benz and beamers. lots of nice suv's. i once dinted the **** out of a proshe, but the guy didnt give a ****. i mean i backed up a truck into his door
it was an accident cheap bastard!!!!!!!!

I use to work for a highline dealer, those care are not bad. There not a true german car anyone. The 03up C-Class is built in the us so it's cheaper. I would go look at an Audi A4.
