My office doesnt close for anything. If the roads are all icy tomorrow it wont matter. We will still be open. I work for an engineering firm in Greenspoint.

i'm gonna head to work as soon as i cook this oven pizza and drink a few beers.... luckily my boss (the shop foreman) lived in these same apts. 20 years ago when he first started at the company and called and asked if we were iced in and the exit goes up hill and its frozen solid... almost like a "pass" to take the day off.

I am off. get at least a 3 day every month. sometime's we get 4days. SO ladies and gents enjoy work and those who are off. we shall continue to be the best bums at home that we can!

The military typically is never off on holidays like this, just Christmas. I remember when I was OCS it sucked, worst 4th if Juy Festivities I have ever partaken in.

Actually the whole time I have been except deployments. We have been off for almost everything. there have been a few times that I havent been off.

Thet are letting us go early now, cause the roads are freezing. And depending on the weather tommorow, we might be closed tommorow. I'm keeping me fingers crosses and praying for an additional arctic blast to blow through for the rest of the week.
