it looked like the ta hit the brakes or something. didnt even out up a fight. i dont know **** about those new gt500s so i dont want to call bs. but the ta did sound pretty weak

 

New heads/cam setup, finally.. along with freshening the tranny..etc

I'm just waiting on the heads to be finished up.

I'm looking for 11.50's @ 120 on DR's this year in our crap air with 100% stock suspension and rearend.

 

I do believe the GT-500s put down around 450rwhp bone stock. Add a couple of "tweaks" and you've got yourself a very fast ride. Nice kill for the mustang.

 

nice man, car sounds like it'll be crazy in good air cause i know I picked up .5 secs going from Penwell to Sealy. I almost wanna get Tony to post in here for all the bs flags.

They both stayed in it for ever on the first race.. the GT500 got to about 150 mph I believe..lol

The TA sounded so weak because it was only heard for a second.. haha

Correction then, for all the skeptics He probably wouldn't care too much about the skeptics. I havn't seen good times outa the procharged TA myself. I do wanna see what the GT500 does at a track though! Not too shabby for less than 2k miles on it!

Im not calling BS,but i have my opinions on that TA... you already vouche with your people confirming its a blown TA,and i do belive you. BUt i gotta admit thats ONE SLOW BLWN TA.

 

With the stock motor and the blower and some bolt on's it ran 12.50's @ 110 I believe.. I think its got a better motor with less boost now.. not positive..

 

why would people NOT think the GT-500 runs good when a pulley and Tune nets over 540 rwhp??????

 

Lets see...Low Comp LS1, Low Boost, Auto from a roll...vs 500+rwhp 6 speed mustang from a roll with instant boost from a roots blower. Don't see why anybody is suprised...

My brother has a 07 shelby cobra,and my friend has a 03 cobra,both with lower blower pulliies.. from a dig,the 03 eats the 07 alive,say 3-4 cars.... froma 40 roll, the 03 and o7 fairly puts a fight from the hit,then its all over when the 03's gets the deep accelaeration going.

something is truely wrong with that T/A. I would love to see how that GT500 run against a procharged LSX that is set up right. I know someone has to have one in that area.
