Default Marque in Rice Village

Went their last night, they have $4 Long Islands, huge ones too. Place is beyond Dive Bar, I mean its prety shady looking. The crowd inside was mailny U of H people, lot of good looking girls. But far as the drinks go, they must wash the glasses in the toilet because we all got our drinks and they smelled like a wet dog. It was prety gross, had to drink it quick and then switch to Beer. I aprecaite good drink specials but gawd damn, smelled like they found the glasses in a dumpster and then washed in the toilet while people were taking dumps. Prety grosssssssss

Nice to see the price of those Long Islands haven't changed since at least '93, when I used to go there.

Have you ever seen a very busy restaurant or bar wash the beer mugs or drink glasses? They dip them into a sink of soapy water and then into a sink of plain water. That’s it! As you may guess, the crap and soap from the first sink gets in the rinse sink after a few dips. That’s nasty stuff and a good reason to stick with bottled beer.

thats true, i used to work at a bar, we had a spinning brush though, so i guess they were a bit cleaner than just the dunk and rinse. but yeah those glasses werent cleaned well. the best places are those that have an automatic dish washer.
