It's prob kids. I have an 85 Mustang that is a POS. Every year, when school would be out, the windows would get busted. First it was just one 1/4 window. Then they egged it. Just a few months ago...they took out both door windows. I always parked it in the street.

I didn't drive the car much, but I took it out to my parents now. It was getting old. Consequently, my neighbors truck got spray painted a month ago. Thank God my Mustang was gone...they would have really screwed it up.

SW Fort Worth is where I am from and when I was younger and dumber random window breakage was how we passed the time. Of course karma came back years later and taught me a lesson with 4 out of 5 windows broken in one car then in my Camaro I had the TT2's stolen.

No crime near me. If the **** from Northside makes it into our neighborhood I will be laying the ethnic smackdown. Little mexico is a good place to get your **** stolen. **** NORTHSIDE! I would rather move back to S. Arlington anyway.

You're over by my dad still I see. That neighborhood this past year has been through hell with break- in's. You're in the area that a guy I knew flipped his goat chasing the kids who broke into his car, and his neices car. They've been hit 3 times by the same people within a year. Best of my knowledge it's kids from Southwest and South Hills in an old Crown Vic. They're of African-American decent. That's why Cookie Monster was parked outside a window with an SKS waiting for idiots when I lived over there for a short time. Get the alarm that snaps pictures every couple of seconds when someone breaks in.

Southwest H.S./ South Hills H.S./ North Crowley H.S. all = that whole area has gone to hell. I grew up over there and it was not that bad until the influx of the urbanites.

I used to live off 30 and green oaks....not anymore. If you came home with the stereo blazing....bet your socks off, your car is gonna get broke into. saw that with the neighbors car...and a few other ''loud'' cars. as soon as I was done with school...I was out and moved over in the Fossil Creek area, only to find out, it was just as bad now, im in dallas, and the guys here are pretty smart, just the other day on the news, cars are being stolen and are checkin out as ''legit'' in less than 24 hrs. the only thing that tipped off a stolen pick-up, after a traffic stop (the cop was about to let him go...after everything checked out ''ok''), was the lo-jack it had installed.

sorry about your car, chaps my heart too. time to bust out the ol' duck tape and cover up that window...its fukin *** cold today

what area are you moving to?

I hate theives, I've had someone try to break into my truck 3 times at my mom's work in dallas. 1st time they cracked the door handle and I guess they got scared off. 2nd time they messed with the driverside again and knocked the door lock into the door and broke the door handle more. The last time they tried the passanger side and bent the metal on the door where they tired to pop the door handle off. I know how you feel

You got something there. I moved to FT. Worth two years ago. Rented a house in a brand new subdivision just off of Old Decatur Rd. and 820. A brand house for about a year. I saw unbanite after urbanite moving in around me. I was literally one of two white families on my street. The other was pure white trash. Had a pimp right next door running his escort service out of his house! I asked myself, how could this be? This sub looked like such a great place, when we toured it, to wait it out while we decide where to build. I guess we took our tour too early in the morning because it was quiet as could be. It was explained to me that interest rates went so low, it allowed the ghetto dwellers to form new ghettos. Needless to say, I made a decision to afford more house than I originally planned to be amongest civilized people. Don't get me wrong. There's still some diversity in my neighborhood but you gotta have a pretty good job to live there. Which in turn means a secondary education for the most part. That imo directly relates to civilized surroundings. The only concerns I have are the venders knocking on the door trying to sell you **** all the time.

not 100% sure yet. I work in uptown (west village to be precise), and its a higher end neighborhood. I coudlnt afford to own anything there, but i think i'm gonna try to get an apartment near work while i house hunt.

i know that the 'better' neighborhoods are north of dallas, but geographically it would work better if i was in SW dallas (like duncanville). no matter where i pick, its gotta have a decent garage, and i want the driveway to wrap around the back of the house so my **** isnt visible from the street
