Angry Fort Worth SUCKS

tonight my GTA got broken into for the SECOND time!! it was the THIRD break-in at my house in 1.5 years. the GTA got broken into the first time on 10/14/05 (about 10 days after moving to TX), my gf's truck got broken into on 7/16/06, and now the GTA again tonight.

the police just left the house, so i havent snooped too much yet, but so far i havent found anything missing. but i did NOT want to clean this **** up at 11pm. now i get to babysit it alllllll night to make sure it doesnt get a 2nd hit, and then drive it an hour to work in dallas with no window in the 30 degree weather

what do i pay taxes and registration fees for???

What part are you in? I park both Camaros in the driveway right now, because the garage is a clusterf#%$. I thought that there were some thug ****'s running around my neighborhood, but I think that most of the people around there know that I will not hesitate to blast out my front windows with the 12 gauge to protect my ****.

Remove anything inside the car that could be stolen, then just leave it unlocked. Install a kill switch somewhere, or better yet one of these: www.Ravelco.com

I have one on my truck and one on the GTO, after someone tried to steal my truck last year. Saw an article about them in GM High Tech.

no subsription needed, I have one on my bike with a perimeter sensor alarm too I'd love to catch someone trying to steal my bike..... bad things would happen to them. Plus that alarm protects my car too since I lock my bike up next to my car

tony, i saw those ravelco's in GMHTP as well. my car does already have an ignition kill alarm /w motion sensor, and i think the audible alarm when they broke the window scared them off.

i had nothing in the car worth anything except a small CD wallet and some jumper cables. when they saw that the CD wallet was full of heavy metal CDs, they probably decided it wasnt anything they wanted.

i dont think they wanted to steal the car... just bust my *****.

i called safelite to replace the window, but they cant come out till tomorrow... that sucks because i use that car to drive 1hr back and forth to dallas for work, and its cold out... so i'm looking for another company that might be able to come out today

A buddy of mines stepdad had a car an ols Firebird similiar to yours and his was broken into 3 times before they stole it in Kennedale. Turned out to be a couple of "URBAN YOUTHS" but he put a hidden kill switch on his. Maybe a garage for it would be a good idea.

Kill switches are nice when you hide them correctly. I always use an exisiting well hidden button already.

On my supra I wired it into my center console lumbar switches. I had to move it a certain direction to start it. Very sleek that way and damn near undetectable to someone watching you as they are scoping the car out for themselves You dont want it too high or else its a give away for the scope out. Something as discreet and not so normal that you would do it or "adjust" it everytime you get in the car.
