Like i said, a 2500 minimum, if you could get a deeper gear get a 3000, your hole shot will be great.

K.I.T.T totally understand about not wanting to sell your car.... There are companies out there that will sell you a complete 347ci engine with fuel system, ecu, and so on, there are ls1's out there making over 500rwhp on H/C!!!! You can pick up a really nice used f-body for nder 8G's.. I think you should do what you feel you can afford and what will make you the happiest... Good luck on what ever you decide and keep us posted.

joshs02ss, hey man what HEB do u work at? I want a f-body with a ls1 but with that comes another car payment and Insurance for a 98-02 is alot more than my v6
