Pearl 22 peice, Any guitar center has them. I had a set and trashed it, damn childish beating with a stick of a person I was. Or if you want to go alittle less over the edge, Tama 12-15 peice. I want to get back into it.

HCC's Northwest campus has established quite a nice little music program. If nothing else, they can probably give you some tips on finding a private lessons teacher. Typically, private lessons are offered as a class, but I think you have to be enrolled in another class to be elligible (i.e. you can't JUST take private lessons). There maybe an intro theory (i.e. how to read music, chord structure, etc.) class you can take that will get you elligible.

I play in a band with the Dean of Music at HCC on Sunday nights. We don't have rehearsal tonight (Superbowl), but I'll try to remember to look at the bulletin board and/or talk to Dr. Tucker about what kind of lessons are offered.
