LOL...not April just yet...yeah just looking at getting some ducks in a row and possibly make a change a little ways down the road. I'm sure she'll make someone very happy...!! A hell of a deal for sure.

Yeah I know Tiago but it would narrow the market big time. Figured it to be a hell of a deal for someone local thats wanting an FI set up thats already started pricing this type of set up then finding out how much it really costs to do it right. Also if I really decide to let her go I don't want to sit on it for a few months waiting for someone that just "has" to have this car no matter what. You and I both know what it takes to build a car like this and still be very streetable...I could ask more but I think its a fair price...thanks for the props!

Dennis, I might be in Houston on Friday. If I do, I'd love to check out your SS. You've done exactly what I eventually want to do to my TA. You just might save me a ton of money. I'll send you a PM if I know I'm coming to town. BTW, do you know Josh Joines? He's a friend of mine in Victoria who's from Mont Belvieu.

Just thought of something else I think you need to think about. I don't think you should be selling it because it will be getting beat like your truck did the other night by my car I mean there are a lot of other cars it could probalby beat brother. LOL! I still think it will be a mistake, but I am not Dennis and Sheila. You can make it without giveing up your toys. But again it is your car.

Sorry to hear about the possible sell, but a little ride to Canton, TX will make those wounds heal quickly! It worked really well for me! Probably the nicest high hp, real street F-bodies around. To build a car of this caliber, it would take double the asking price for starters. That's a steal by anyone's standards. Good luck D on whatever you decide.

Seen the car in person.....if I had the 30k laying around it would be sold. One of the top street cars in my book.

Edited first page...

Thanks for all the props guys. A very hard decision for sure!!! Aric, your right, to build this car from scratch from the LS2 408, FI set up, suspension, brakes, other parts of the drivetrain, etc. It would be VERY expensive. Someone will be getting one hell of a deal if I do go through with this...BTW Canton will have to wait for quite some time. Gotta take care of a some things first my brotha...

I have responded to all PM's and want to thank everyone that's interested. As you can imagine I've had some pretty "interesting" offers but most, thank God, are serious ones. I have an offer for 32K from someone really wanting the car that knows first hand what it takes to build a car of this caliber. He's afraid of loosing the sale as he wasn't the first one to PM me about buying the car if I finally decided to sell. I'm not going to do any kind of bidding war but I will, of course, sell it to the person offering me the 32k instead of the 30k. I'm sure ya'll can understand that logic...

I will be out of town this weekend but after that any serious buyer that wants to come see the SS is more than welcome. Until I receive earnest money from this potential buyer the car will be up for sale. There are quite a few misc things (parts) I've gathered over the years that will be going with the car also...

So I guess that means "Yes" the car is officially for sale... ...yeah I know.
