Default Sneaky cops in San Antonio

I was cruising down I-10 towards highway 90 west this morning. Had the cruise set on 65 and a couple of cars went around me. About a half mile ahead I see three guys in black on top of the overpass. The patrolmen on the overpass were laser clocking traffic then there were four patrol units waiting after the overpass to the right were you could not see them. I'll be dammed they hauled *** out of there like a bunch of hornets and started stopping cars left and right. It was the dammdest thing I have ever seen. If that's not entrapment I give up. I realize if they are wearing the badge then it's hard to argue with, but it's a pretty chicken **** method of traffic stops.

Sounds kinda dangerous.
One day one of those cops is going to get ran over or cause an accident. Or both

How is that Entrapment? Do you even know what the Definition of Entrapment is?

ENTRAPMENT - A person is 'entrapped' when he is induced or persuaded by law enforcement officers or their agents to commit a crime that he had no previous intent to commit; and the law as a matter of policy forbids conviction in such a case.

Same thing every Officer Does, Sits and waits, they are just teaming up.

Speeding is just as Illegal as Robbery. You know it's Illegal, so when you get caught man up and deal with it.

i've seen DPS officers do that, only difference is that it was a one man show. Very impressive to watch him clock a guy in a 911 come flying down the over pass on to the free way and catch him in a crown vic. Made for a good laugh.

Saw this same thing in SA, TX about 2 months ago off of 410/Marbach exit. The radar went off like a mad man as I eclipsed the hill...then I pass the next on ramp with several biker cops in cahoots waiting to nail you as they pass by...If you want to have some fun get back on about 2 miles before that first hill and start some **** with the rice or mustangs. They usually don't have decent radar detectors and are typically crazy enough to drive over 100+ on the freeway.

Ive seen them on the way back to San Antonio from Austin, They put up one of the construction zones signs, had one worker out there and a truck who was just sitting out there doing nothing, so they can give you a ticket in a work zone, plus they had about 7 or 8 cops on bikes using laser on you, all of this within 1/8th of a mile, was funny, saw about 6 cars pulled over in that short of a distance.

SA cops were doing that 10 years ago when I lived there. Dark colored cruiseres without code threes on the top sitting on the overpass in each direction. One guy gets his gun and shoots at people coming around the corner. They pull this on 281 a lot, towards downtown, especially right by UIW/Trinity.

Cops will be cops. They just do their own thing. We just need to be more careful.

I agree, and that sounds nothing like a speed trap. Speed traps are when the speed limit goes from say 65mph to 25 and the cop is sitting right behind the 25 sign. That is a trap! When a speed limit is posted and they are running radar, that is just considered as them doing their jobs, enforcing people breaking the law.
