If the car is loose you either need to stiffen the effective spring rate up front or soften it out back.
This can be done with springs, sway bars, tire pressures even wheel spacers.
And the driver can drive around a loose car if he can practice the "slow in, fast out" theory.
Be careful on the internet. You never really know who is on the other keyboard.

You couldn't change tire pressures? or add wheel spacers?

I'm sure mitchntx knows what they were. After all he knows everything just by watching the 1 hour TV show.

LOL! You guys just calm down a bit mitchntx wasn't there and like a few others has no basis for comparison as there weren't any lap times posted. He was making an asumption from thw film footage and it does look like they were going slow, but they weren't. Check it out tonight I think it will be a better episode.

As for One Lap 2007, I'm working on another vette Co-drive Position. . I've been to 3 of the tracks. Might be able to get one of those CMC ones with some extra power!!!!!!! for 2008
Now back on track>.... LOL I think we need to see the lap times. That would clear up some things for me, and assume others. Then we will know how they were really running. Not trying to start ****.

1:40's give or take.
I have raced at 18 different tracks, but not road Atlanta. We all know someone had to be timing. Lou G is a racer and he would want to know the car was running.

2.54 mile track in 1.40 Hmmm in a stock 350Z maybe i don't remember the times as I timed some of them with my cell phone. Here is a link to some times layed down by some race cars etc... http://www.starmazda.com/results/200...ns/petit06.htm
I do know Lou drove his car for an exibition and I know that he wasn't any faster.

Right now, Glenn and I make handling adjustments in 1/2 pound tire pressure increments and using 1/8" spacers on the wheels.
You get'em close to 50/50 and small movements make a HUGE difference.

I guess it comes down to performance. Were they running 1:45 1:55 2:00, 2:10's or slower. The people that are looking for the Lap times inculding myself can find out if they were really pushing there cars or just ***** footing around. My above figure still stands. We all got the drag times why not the Road course times. Enough said.
Let me guess after tonights Show that they are going to show how much the cars picked-up after the MODS.

PS you need a different tire choice. Street tires only UTOG 140 or higher and only one set for the week............ Tire changes have to authorized by officals.

Tonights show is much better, I think Lou needs to chill its just a game. I mean yes the kid is alittle hard headed but he is 17 who wasnt at that age. I think its also stupid for lou to be talking about give a kid a black eye. Grow up, seriously I would have money on the kid in that fight!
Cant wait to see the end!
