When my car got broken in to in College Station, they did catch the guys, and they were ordered to pay restitution. I did fill out a little paperwork, and the price of what was broken (window and a console, ~$375 damages).

I was repaid, very slowly. I think I received $50 every few months. If I recall correctly, it was a couple years before I was paid in full. I don't think it helped that they broke in to a dozen other cars that night as well.

Never did replace the console. Sold the car with a broken console.

I remember reading a similar experience on here about another member who chased down some kids that were throwing rocks at his car, the cops wanted to arrest him for assaulting a minor! Luckily these cops didnt give y'all **** for it.

I would have probably beat their asses with the bats, which im sure i would have regret but damn it i cant help im ill tempered! Goodluck with making their asses. hopefully this ruins their lives!

I would make slow passes by there house to let them know you got your eyes on them little *******.....the bat to the face would have been to much....but a nice knee to there rips and a elbow to the face during the "fall" would have done the trick....great jib catching them,.....nothing worse than not knowing who did it

Well, I know in Denton County that if you sue somebody, you can file the same paperwork that you sue, for "Wage Garnishment", the judge CAN award against their paychecks. I think it's like a $40 fee to file for it. That stops the people that loose the judegment and have to pay back the people that sued them.
