About 80 miles to school then work and back. Average of about 2.5 hrs of sitting in traffic. Atleast I have DD (its a Geo! 40mpg city or hwy)

And even if you get shot at 9 times during that 200 yards, it's not as bad as sitting on I-10.

I know im not from around your parts. My father run's 154 miles round trip 5 days a wk. That just to and from work. He's been running 60k a yr for 3yrs now. Luckly for him its only 1:15min one way. Bad part does it in a PU that only get 17 MPG avg. Oil changes every 6 wk aprox.

He's so stubborn wont drive anything else. Say he's not comfortable in anything else. But You can save 7,000 a yr just in fuel by driving a car. NOPE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9 miles on Barker Cypress everyday! I love it! It's a big change from the 30 miles 1 way before at David Taylor Cadillac.

LOL! That was one of my selling points to my mom for coming over here. I told her that I was more likely to get killed driving on Houston Freeways than get shot or blown up over here.

wow I can't imagine driving more than 20 miles 1-way to work. Hence, why I don't live in a bigger city. My drive is about 4 miles one way.

63, round trip ..

it was 130 a day round trip when I was in Maryland .. 2+ hours each way ..
left the house at 5 AM, got home at 10 pm.

in Atlanta, it was 13 miles one way, and still an hour drive in traffic ..

I try and remember that now, when I am stuck in the traffic on 290 in the mornings .. it could be a lot worse ..
