Senior dream team? We lose 2 starters, one of them is gonna be replaced by a 7 foot 5* that was rated the best player in Texas. The other is gonna be replaced by a 4* who played alot of the bench this year. We will be just as good next year, can't say the same for the Horns as it aint gonna be easy to lose the best player in the NCAA. Hell this Texas team has the same damn record as they did last year with all those NBA players, so whats the difference. I watched Texas beat Nebraska a week or so ago, I think they won like 68-62 or something. Guess how many points Durant had? 32, He scored damn near HALF of the teams points, whats gonna happen next year when that is gone?

Oh and this is no dream team, this is just the same scrubs that went 0-16 their freshman year, it's all about the coach and we have the best in the Big 12 by FAR. Usually id be talking alot more **** but I think the Horn fans forget that they are gonna see this A&M squad again in the Big 12 Tourney on a nuetral court.

But I did think when they grabed Acie by the jersey and pulled him down as he was shooting a 3 at the end it was clearly an intentional foul, which would have gave us 3 foul shots AND the ball. Oh well, I don't think the Ags will have trouble with Texas on a nuetral court in the Big 12 tourney. I just hope to god you guys beat Kansas so we can get our hands on that trophy!!
What do ya know, an Aggie complaining about officiating

Any foul in the last minute to stop the clock could be called an intentional foul. You do know the meaning of intentional, right? Where do you draw the line? They're not going to make that call in the last 10 seconds.

BTW, if UT beats Kansas, there'd be a tie for first. Is that even something to be proud of or is this just desperation Aggy needing a banner to hang in those empty rafters? Who gives a **** about the regular season title. UT would be the #1 seed if they beat Kansas anyways.

I don't care if the Horns have a #1 seed, because you know what is gonna happen if they have to play the Ags on a nuetral court. I just want the title, we earned it, we have been top ten almost all year and played that way. For any longhorn fan to try to talk down on this A&M basketball squad is just stupid, they have proved they are good all year and losing to you guys in Austin by 2 in double OT didnt do anything to prove otherwise. And I know it is hard to make that call with seconds left but give me a break, he was in the middle of a 3 point shot and they grabed his jersey and pulled him down. Here is what SI had to say about it......

"Texas A&M Aggies (25-4)
Wednesday night's game in Austin had the potential to dethrone Texas-Oklahoma State as game of the year ... until the second overtime ended on a botched call. D.J. Augustin's two-handed jersey grab of Acie Law in the final seconds was about as intentional as an intentional foul could get, and yet it garnered a standard whistle, sending Law to the line for two shots with his Aggies trailing by three. It's not as if I want my three hours back or anything -- the game was thoroughly enjoyable, with virtuoso performances by Law and Kevin Durant -- but when the greatest clutch player in the country isn't given a chance to attempt the game-winning shot, it's easy to feel at least a little cheated"

So what's the point in rooting for UT this weekend? You won't get the #1 seed either way so in reality you wouldn't be winning the regular season title either way. I think the only reason Aggies are rooting for UT this weekend, is because if UT loses they will be the #3 seed and the Ags will be #2, which means they could meet in the 3rd round. A&M would rather play Kansas than UT I guess.

So I'm supposed to feel validated by some no-name's opinion? Well here's a quote I found:

"The foul on Law in the final moments was indeed intentional, but so is every foul comitted in the last minute or so of games in order to stop the clock. The word intentional means done on purpose, which all fouls to stop the clock fall under. So where is the line drawn? There's no way the officials were going to make that call, just like most football officials aren't going to call holding on the final play of the game. For Aggies, it's just another reason to bitch."

There is no tiebreak for the Big 12 regular season title, all 3 teams would get a trophy if Texas were to beat Kansas. A&M has the #2 seed locked no matter if the Horns win or lose. But even with all 3 teams winning they still have to set the bracket, so 1st they do head to head which A&M/Texas split, so next they go to division record, which A&M has 3 losses and Texas has 2, so you take the top seed. I wish they did it like football and did points scored in the two games because A&M had that covered with the blowout win in College Station. But like I said, we already proved we could beat Kansas in their house, and I don't see the Horns being a problem on a neutral court either.

So does that make your little dingis go crazy, sharing a title with 2 other teams and getting a shiny trophy? I guess it really is desperate times in CS. Still looking for that first banner to hang.

Yea, winning the Big 12 Title sure calls for desperate times... But to be honest with you, I don't think your team is good enough to beat Kansas in Kansas anyway...

Everyone can say what they want but the only team to beat Kansas at home is none other than THE AGGIES!!! NO big 12 south team has done it accept for them u should give some props to the state of Texas for that instead of hating! With that said the best of luck to TU in Kansas it would be nice to see them lose again on their home floor.

So please answer, why the hell do you care if UT wins? It obviously is desperate times if Ags are so horny over an f'n shared Big 12 regular season title. Are you telling me Aggy fan wants more than to just beat UT every year? I thought that WAS their championship. Maybe you can hang that banner from the rafters.

Great Game. Can't wait until March. Aggies played great and I'm glad Texas got the W, Durrant is a man child but Acie is just ridiculous right now...the 3 over Durrant's 6'9" frame was simply amazing. Both teams were amazing.

I scalped 2 of our season tickets for 450 bucks, daaaaaaamn it was a mad house outside the center. I was tired when it was over but damn it was worth it!

Actually A&M is the only south team to ever beat Kansas in Kansas. But I hope the horns pull it off.

Acie was being rediculous at the end of the second half and in overtime. Durant wasn't getting much love in OT, but still put up big numbers. Every game I think less and less that he will be back next year.
