Dont have any hard proof. But my car went up 15hp/10tq with heads that flowed just shy of 300cfm, as have others.

Davids car picked up a TON with some old Stage 1 ARE heads and his dinky cam!

We didnt have a before number but if i had to guess id say it was somewhere in the 370 range. after was 404 or something rather. 385 or so on the torque. Real broad curve though! And the setup never runs out of breath liek it did with the LS6 intake. It pulls til redline.

what do you mean talking out my ***? What is that ****? Mine was ported and matched with my heads by Greg Good!

I wasnt referring to you, my thought ran together. But, Greg Good did your heads, man that is sweet...............I dont care who did your heads, that has no bearing on anything. Do you think name dropping adds validity to any info posted here? I mearly said to not go deaper than the index lines, if your head is more narrow than that, then great. If not, dont port match.

My opinion, and it's just that, an opinion, is that the port entrance is a choke point on a high flowing set of LSx heads. With that in mind, I always make the intake manifold as wide as the heads where they meet. That's just how I do it. Others like to have the intake smaller for a mismatch that hopefully hinders reversion. I'm not a follower of that theory. Once reversion is that far up into the intake you're screwed anyway.

Greg, you are the pro, and of course know better than I. The ONLY fact I was making to someone porting a fast is to not take the wall of the manifold past the port where it breaks through the shell and past the o-ring seal. Know why I bring this up? Because dumbass me did it on the first fast I had, and I have known of 2 others do the same thing.

Hey, I'm just a student of head porting and do not consider myself an expert. I'm always leaning. I'm used to people telling me I'm wrong all the time, so don't worry.

Now that you mention it, I did bump the o-ring groove in a couple of places on Beard's intake. Oops! I'm glad he's putting a Beck 'fold on it.

Man I have to go for a ride in your car. Once you have the intake on and I have my headers on we should go to the track.

ANd hes simply stating that there are better qualified people to do the job than a man that cant get his Auto daily driven car out of the 7's for over 3.5 years now.

Hey Greg if I pulled my intake off my car could you port match it to my heads without me pulling the heads off.I never did this and the heads you ported for me flow like crazy im sure my fast is holding them up a bit.
