Default Mavs/Suns

I think I just saw why Steve Nash should get MVP and why Dirk should not.

Mavs showed they can blow out anyone when they put their pieces together but, they blew it and just halfassed it towards the end, Mavs still are the number one team in the league whether you want to admit it or not, and Dirk didnt play worth a **** tonight, and Nash finished with 32 and 16 but he didnt look good till the end of the 4th and the ot's. 52-11 and still number one by 2.5 lets start the streak again.

Damn good game honestly thought Dallas was going to come out on top until Phoenix started playing real basketball again. Once it turned into a real game Dallas lost some of it's composure. Quoted by one of the commentators "Steve Nash for mvp of the NBA" I agree and I'm calling that the Suns will catch the Mavericks and take the first place lead if they keep playing like they did tonight.

The suns showed they can blow out anyone on their own home floor and catch up if they get their pieces 2gether too.

Dirk played like ****???? 30 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists

^^ honestly bro, he just CHOKED in the clutch..

Nash finished with 32 and 16 but he didnt look good till the end of the 4th and the ot's
^^that has MVP material written all over it!!!!
clutch performer unlike Dirkie

great game but so far the spurs have been playing the best ball after allstar break..either way I cant wait till playoffs. I think they vote to early for mvp the should wait a little longer but as of right now cant go wrong with either nash or dirk.

I agree he did choke and he doesnt do that too often, i guess Nash never chokes? and one game decides your MVP? thats pretty interesting, Dirk has been playing more consistent basketball throughout the course of the year if you have been watching. One game does not decide who holds the MVP trophy. What is up with this board and their dislike of the Mavs? It's ridiculous, everybody hates to see a team go from crappy to the best team in the league. The Mavs had that one in the bag if Howard would learn to fly by instead of fly into, i give my hat off to the suns, they played a good game and got a couple of breaks in the end, I still thought stackhouse should have got the ball at the end of regulation. Oh well STILL #1 in the NBA by 2 and a half games against a 50 win club, comeon if that doesnt shout incredible team, then i dont know what does.

The game was at Dallas.

IMO,
The Suns could take the Mav's in a 7 game series.

When did the Mavs blow the Suns out last night? They had to play catch up, . Now that Amare is healthy, it won't be so easy for the Suns to go out without a fight, .

bro do yourself a favor and get over it! The mavs lost and they definitely CHOKED! So what if the suns got breaks in the end but they definitely deserved it. Your mavs got plenty of breaks also. The suns don't have a D and they still fought their way on the ROAD in your lil ARENA and got the W!! Mavs are an incredible team this year but don't get so confident, etc. cus if your team CHOKES when the playoffs come, I will be worried for all of ya. Nash definitely deserves the MVP and I think he will get it because he is so valuable too his team and unlike Dirkie, nash comes up big in the clutch! I understand that your are very happy they are winning this year but relax buddy. Don't be dissappointed if they let you guys down again in da playoffs...haha

neway, move on from this game!! geez

id be worried more about your precious spurs darkhorse, seems they cant even make it a close game against a struggling bucks team. Why in the hell would we not be confident bro? and choke? just like they choked in the second game at phoenix this year when they won by 2 and Dirk drilled an 18 footer? Just remember one thing... were in the drivers seat and for right now in the Western Conference, we are reigning champs so there isnt much room for either the Spurs (game 7) nor the suns (game 6) to talk a whole lot until you take that western conference trophies out of the mavs hands i would just sit back and bite your tongue...okay bro?

game 7 against the spurs last year was a joke. That "foul" by Manu at the end of the game on Dirk? Get the **** out of here that was a WEAK call. And if you are not gonna call it when Duncan gets HAMMERED the play right before then don't call Dirk's cry baby ***** ****. The ref's gave the mavs game 7 and everyone knows it. Yes the mavs are a great team and yes Dirk is a great player, but I am still not convinced that they can take the spurs again in a 7 game series. The spurs have been flying under the radar all season long. They are now starting to turn it on(with the exception of last nights game) and I think they have a great shot at winning the title. I do know this though, the champion WILL come out of the west.

who cares reigning western champs, etc. that was last year!! Mavs gotta go through the spurs to even repeat West champs and they know it. The spurs are not as strong as previous years but they will find a way 2 get it done. Bet on that! 2 identical teams of course but we just won't know till that series happens. Season stats ain't **** when postseason starts 0-0. Better hope your mavs finish how they started (breathing jus fine) haha
