Register your car in Michigan and you can take off your front plate and converters. it cost alot less for a plate. besides Michigan is way better than Texas.

no dude the whole state is better and cheese is a wisconsin thing. if it wasn't for michigan you wouldn't have your car. in this state if it's below 45 your all bundled up and have the heat up tp 100. so far the best thing i have found in this state is hmmm well nothing...the fishing sucks the weather is too hot and nobody can drive.

How many license plates am I required to display?
State law requires that you display two (2) license plates, one to the front and one to the rear. Placement or mounting of license plates is not defined.

note that it says placement is NOT DEFINED

So if you show pictures to the judge with the front LP you'll get it dismissed.

I dunno about all that, It seems every officer you talk to sees it a different way. The laws are left to interpretation. I'd definately agree with leaving it off the dashboard... besides being a hazard, it just draws more attention.

I've been pulled over 3 times and have gotten a ticket from it.. they wouldn't dismiss it even with pictures... Dont drive in Katy without a plate, you've been warned.

I have been stopped several times for it, only once got a ticket in Westheimer cause of the huge amount of street racing at the time, it was in the tint of the windshield, i lowered it below and never herd **** since, and, yea, you have to have one, but does not say where.
