I'll be there helpin' a buddy out from OKC in his pewter M6 Camaro with SS wing and Sonoco hood. Actually, we'll be out there tonight and tomorrow. I'll have to check out that G-Force booth. How much horsepower is a sticker going to net me?

I will be there,
My boys are coming down from Austin tonight for this,
It will be a long day,
Getting there at 8am and hopefully will not leave until the night is over!
When we win!
I will be helping a friend with his Monte Carlo,
yall lookout, we are well prepared with a consistently fast car that we know extremely well. He and I have been racing together for 10 years, with this car. Seen alot of racing, and done alot of racing. We are bringing our "A" Game!
Hopefully we have what they are looking for!
For those of you who don't know,
they are letting about 300 preregistered cars in,
you are suppose to make 2 and only 2 time trial passes between 10 and 6ish,
then they pick 16 cars out of the pack to be in the show,
those 16 race once, the 8 winners get $1,000 from the show,
Then those 8 winners get to race, for money, they can bet as little or as much as they want, since they already have $1,000 there really isn't much to lose.
Race till 1 is left standing, he is the winner and gets $10,000 plus a tool box and tools valued at $7,500. or at least this is my understanding.
They try to pick a group of 16 that is very tight, timewise in the trials,
and if you peddle it or sandbag you are immediantly tossed out.
Two of our guys went to the one in Dallas, said it was a hassle, took forever, lots of standing around with nothing to do and watching old pinks episodes on the big screen,
said it was painfully boring, and kinda sucked.
Alot of guys complain that the cars chosed are not faster.
I don't see why they can't get 16 low 8 second cars together, to run for big money,
I would love to watch that.
Guess I need to go to World Streetcar Nationals in Florida,
