If you dont have the money dont pay it and wait until they catch you. Then you can sit the rest of the time out in jail. Or you can call the above lawyer and im sure he can point you in the right direction.

Just call a lawyer that works with traffic violations, they will take care of it. As soon as you sick a lawyer on it you will not have a warrant anymore, and they will most likely be able to get the tickets dropped. Since they are warrants they will probably cost you 75 at ticket but its better than going to jail. Or you can sit in jail for a 2 or 3 days and not pay a dime.

If they are in Texas, I wouldn't worry about them out of state. I don't think that the county will pay to extradite you. If you get pulled over and "IF" they find them, they will contact the county where the warrant is issued and if there is not an extradition order then they will let you go on about your way. They will do this from the side of the road, you will not be taken into custody unless the county is willing to put up the money.

The only thing that passes state lines are felonies. I would be willing to bet you could go to the municipal court from the area you got the ticket and explain to them you would like to take care of it but dont have all the $$$. More than likely they will put you on a payment plan. These days counties are going as far as putting unpaid tickets on your credit record. Also when your licence comes due for renewal, even if you dont have a warrant, they wont let you renew it/ they will suspend it.

ehh i got a couple warrants from like 2001... been pulled over many times in different counties... even in the same county their databases differ from city to city.
So a speeding ticket/warrant is nothing to worry about unless you get pulled over in the same podunk town or like stated above, try to renew your license. Just go to school, dont worry about it. and take a picture of your car with a front plate on it and send it into the courthouse when you get ready to pay. GL
on the same note: anyone work for LaPorte municiple?

Texas now will suspend your license for unpaid warrants and also charges a warrant fee to get the suspension lifted. Since you are leaving the state you won't be arrested for the warrants but could be arrested for DWLS.
