Default My Experience Today with MTI!

Thought I would pass on my experience with MTI today. Let me just start off by saying.... They earned themselves a customer for life today!!
I finished up all my mods on my car yesterday (FINALLY) anyway, I am trying to make it to the Texas Mile event this weekend, and i need a tune for the add-ons i just did to my car. I call around to every shop and seems like every place i call pretty much could care less what i'm trying to accomplish (meaning, getting my car tuned before this weekend) except for MTI. David over at MTI actually listened and understood my frustration, And promised me he could fit me in this afternoon!
So I show up at MTI this morning unload my car off the trailer and hand them the keys. Chris gets in my car to pull it on the dyno and the car starts to make a nasty knocking sound. The whole team immediately starts to break my car down to find the problem. Turns out I had missed tightening a rocker arm bolt. So Chris crabs his torque wrench and makes sure all the rest of the bolts are torqued properly.
Then he starts the tuning. And another problem arises. The intake is sucking air from an unknown location. Long story short I didn't get my car fixed in time to do the tuning today, but even as busy as they are gonna be tomorrow, they told me to bring it back and they would fit me in!! And on top of all that they didn't charge me anything for what they had done today!!
Like I said before, I will be a MTI customer for life after today and i hope that every LS1Tech member reads this.
Thank You David, Jason, Chris and Zach for your help and your knowledge!!!!!

That's nice they went the extra mile for you.

I had a similar experience but they told me they were too busy and they sent me to a shop who 1/2 *** fixed it, but then ended up costing me over $600 more than it should have, due to their screw ups (not MTI's).

Anyway, i'm glad they helped you out, they don't do that for everyone.

MTI is the best.. That is a known factor though

Chris, Steve, Jayson, David, etc. will all do what they can to make it right. Unless its help in Chemistry.... Then the teacher just favors Chris over you............................................... .......

Work on a C5 and you'll understand LOL!!

We did Heads/Cam in the garage and it was a very interesting ordeal. Unless you have a lift .. it's VERY hard.

My Camaro on the other hand, we had the motor out and in 1:45 lol!!! F-body = win for ability to work on

I've known the MTI guys for quite some time. Jason the owner is a great guy to work with. Recently had a little problem with my Xcelerator filter for my 07 Corvette. He exchanged it out no problem. The filter was made a little too large by the filter manufacturer.

By the way, in worse air last night at the track I picked up over a tenth with the Xcelerator. Went from 12.465 @ 113.92 mph to 12.342 @ 114.43 mph.

I think its just the opposite. F-bod cowl over the heads for the win! The only thing I despise is pulling the ******* steering rack and puking oil on my ******* shirt.
