I've got a long block 4.8, but you can bore it to a 5.7

try eBay? You can get crate engines+transmission fairly inexpensivly if you look hard enough.

stay away from Manual's regardless of what they might have, they're expensive as hell

LKQ has one for $2700, tell them you found it for $1750 or something but you don't want to wait on shipping and I bet they deal with you.

If I were at my office I could get you some more info but most of the yards in the country have their inventory listed on car-part.

I have a two ls1's. One is a pullout full long block with 8 k on it. Then I have a long block ls6 with TSP heads and cam made 465. 20K on it. Let me know.

LS6,TSP Stage two 243 heads,MS3 cam and ARP head studs with GM MLS gaskets. I want 3500 for it. I have dyno sheets and its out of the car. Thats off the top of my head. But I can get more info tomorrow.

The LS1 is a a complete pull out. Has everything ls1 intake etc. Minus a few nick nacks. I want $2600 for it. 8k on it on a pallet ready for a new home.
