the hp isn't as much of a factor Seb as the weight of the car, the stall of the converter, etc. I pulled it off with ~350RWHP and PT4200

IMO it is more in the suspension than pure power...you can tune the chaasis to keep the wheels up or down. Mine makes ~600whp in the pic above and only pics them about 12".

I make 400 RWHP now N/A, but I have stock Susp. I want to yank the tires about 3 feet. What do I need to do & how much RWHP do I need to do it? I should be 430 RWHP after my new mods.

i know wheelies look cool as hell but i dont understand why people do it...or is it really neccesary to go really fast??

i see some car yank the front tires up and yet only run 10s...
my car supra runs 9s and the front doesnt even do anything..my nissan does 1.38 60's and nothing...but still run mid 8s..yes i know these are IRS...but still..

the boostlogic new supra ran 7.9s barely lifting the front..then he tried to really launch hard and went all the way up, only to come down and tear up alot of ****...and then on the next pass out at the track he shot out 3 rods due to oil starvation from the wheelie..so he stop launching it hard but still run 7.9s doing 1.30 60'..

how do you guys keep the motor lubricated during the wheelie?? dry sump????

Dry sump is correct.

Its not needed to go fast, and most 'real' bracket cars dont tune their cars to go up, they tune their cars to go straight.

I would say the majority of the cars in these pics are either trying to wheelie or are just not 'track' ready.
