damn ya'll...it's only game 1 of a 162 game season!!! GEEZ!

 

He wont be hanging around for very long with that weak sauce. We put up with it and gave him chance after chance last season to get his **** together. It was only the first game.....but damn. I still think he sees Pujols every time he throws the ball. I hope he proves everyone wrong!

 

I think we all realize that, but this is not how you want your struggling head-case closer starting off the season.

 

As soon as Lidge gave up that homer, Garner should have been out at the mound, taking the ball away, and saying, "we're not having that crap again this year".

 

No ****, game 1...blown game by lidge #1. When does he pitch next? Ill be sure and not hurry home to see the game.

 

The REALLY bad thing is this..... his contract was re-negociated, and he got a RAISE!!!!! C'mon Astros, killin me here!!!

 

He is a closer, so who knows when we will see him next. Could be tomorrow... could be next week..... who knows? All I know is that when they bring his *** in, the channel is getting changed. I dont need any heart attacks at age 28.

 

after the pirates... stros are playing the Cardinals...... cant wait for lidge to face em.....

 

After they tied it I just quit watching, they need to trade his ***, he's like david carr, is confidence is shot.

 

1st game of a long season, but it's not a good start

 

Come the end of the season, you will remember bullshit pitching like this that will keep the Astros a game or two shy of postseason play.
