Just Got Accepted To Texas State!!!

Just Got Accepted To Texas State!!! Like the title says. Just wondering if anyone is currently over there or got accepted as well that has an fbody. I hope there are because i want some people to cruise with when i start in fall

i made a 3.02 and am like top 50%. Plano West is a ****** hard high school. My sister had a 4.2 and she still wasnt in the top 10%. Thanks guys and yea Dono cant wait to get there. Ill see you there soon

First off, I went to Plano West and it wasn't hard but I also graduated in 1996, LOL!
Anyways, congrats. I went to University of Texas and had never heard of Texas State, until I met my X-gf. As it turns out her father was then and is still the head of technology down there, his name is Dr. Habingreither (Robert first name) awesome guy! just awesome! Actually, about the time we were going to break up I thought to myself out loud, man at least her Dad is cool....rough huh? but he's that cool!!!
He's built that entire program and really like the small block chevy. He has an engine dyno there at the school and pretty much every piece of machine equipment it takes to do SBC work. I ported my LT1 heads and did all the valve work there during the summer months, that guy taught me SOOOOO MUCH. Coolest part, he had a lift at his fricking HOUSE, a full on, 2 post lift (probably still does) and let me use it as much as I wanted. I used his gas welder to build my first Camaro's 4" exhaust, turned out great.
Anyways, I think your'e going to love it there. Bad news for you, he doesn't' have any more daughters and the one I dated is married but I'm sure you can still make friends with him. One of the COOLIST people I've ever know.

Now that they built a 3rd High School, There is Plano ( our old school, formerly on the westside) Plano East, and Plano West, which is where Shepton was for a while.

I moved out of Plano to go to UT and never looked back....god do I hate that town and DFW in general.
