Default I need a good place to fish in Galveston this weekend

My Dad and I are looking for a good place to go fishing this weekend somewhere close to Galveston. We're just wanting to fish the coast or the bay, from a pier, or possibly a party fishing boat that is fairly priced. Does anyone have any leads?

This weekend should be smooth on the water. Check out www.2coolfishing.com and post up and find a guide to take you out. You'll be much happier with that then off a peir somewhere.

I usually fish at San Louis pass, or redfish cove. Both are very close to each other, however things don't heat up there until mid-summer

If you are limited to being on land i would try Seawolf Park.
You have the option of fishing the channel or the pier.
They also have a snack bar I think it's about 10.00 per person.
I plan on fising the jetties if the wind chills by the weekend.
I'am not looking foward on filling up the boat with gas either
As hawgs said if you have about 400.00 to blow get a guide there are some monster specks out there now.
