I just ventured over here from PerformanceTrucks.net, if anybody sees a red and pewter full size GMC 99-06 body style around campus thats me...

Has anybody heard any news about a performance shop on the loop across from the animal shelter. I was on the prowl for an LS1 or 6.0 block at some of the salvage yards and was directed there. Just wondering if anybody knows of the place.

Oh ya, if any of you are in town during the summer and want to have a get together with more LS1 Tech guys lets PM each other and see if we can get together at Bullfrogs or Flashbacks one night...

 

Hey, bro. I've seen you around. Whatcha been up to? You're right when you say the import scene sucks around here (cheap rib poking). I work over at O'Reilly's on Fridays and Saturdays, so feeel free to stop by and we'll see if there's any trouble to get into in this po-dunk town.

I don't think so. I'm still pretty new to town. I've made an appearance at Chilli's (both Nac and Lufkin), and Applebees a time or two, but I don't know those places nor anyone to go with if I did. I'm still saving my $ for a new place so I haven't had the dough to go out like I used to, but I still look forward to being able to do something out in town with some good people. I don't think I mentioned also that the O'Reilly's I work at is the Lufkin location (not Nac). See ya 'round.

Nope, mine is an '04, but there are a couple of GTO's running around between the two towns. I've been working at O'Reilly's for almost a month now, but I'm not sure if it's going to work out as well as I had hoped. The pay is crappy and so is the schedule. I figure I can stand for one or the other, but you can't do both and expect me to stay for very long. You guys know anybody looking for a parts guy mon-fri @ $10/hr?

There's supposed to be a live band at the Sports Shack (the little hole-in-the-wall behind Lufkin Mall). I don't know if they'll be any good, but it's $5.00 cover and starts at nine. Anyone interested?
