Prayers Needed – Thank you..... Those that know me well know all of this, but man it’s been kinda a rough year so far for my family & friends which is why I have not been around or on here (or any site) much. On Feb. 1 st my grandfather had a massive stroke and I spent 2 weeks in this small town called Fieldale, Virginia helping out up there.
Now my girlfriends little boy. He had surgery to correct some back/spine problems on Tuesday. Surgery lasted over 8hrs. It went well but he since the surgery he has had problems breathing on his own and is still in the Pediatric ICU unit of Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston and will be for a good little bit. I have been spending the nites there (Houston) with her in the waiting room, then driving all the way back to here (Beaumont) for work in the day, and then back there to T.C.H. (Houston) to spend the nite and do it all over again the next day. I like to drive and all but man.
So I don’t usually do this, but if yall have any extra prayers lying around send them over to Matthew for me. Last nite he started running a fever and they are still trying to determine if its normal post-op fever or if he is have a reaction/rejecting the rods & screws they put in. Hope its nothing serious, that boy has been though enough in his lifetime.
I appreciate it and know his mom sure does. It’s been hard on her, and all of us really, these past few days but for her especially. She has not left the hospital since Monday.
