It won't be as fun as your M6 was until you put a big stall in it. Atleast that's what I went through. I went from an LT1 M6 to a stock a4 LS1. It was much better after the 4400 stall went in.

I really won't be that bad. It might actually serve you better in the racing aspect. Just get it and but a big stall in it like TNorm and then go hunting

All about personal preference. I went from auto to manual and auto's seem boring now.

If someone wants to run you just floor it. Chances are the computer knows the shift points better than you. They don't call it a mash and steer transmission for nothing.

You cannot beat the consistency of an auto, and they are awsome for the track, but the m6 or any manual rules on the street for pure pleasure, if i had to have a auto, it would definitely have a manual valve body, and a ratchet shifter. But thats just me.

Youd be a fool if you passed it up cause it was an auto. Autos are faster from a roll and the track with the right stall.

Not really. He'll just regret it down the road.

whats the mileage on the SS? if its real high. I'd pass i've seen some ~130k-150k ls1 SSs selling for $6-7k. I Think i just saw one on dfwls1 recently.

Dude you can't replace the fun factor of driving a M6 but stalled A4 LS1 can really put a **** eating grin on your face every time you mash the gas pedal. It happened to me and it can happen to you also.
