Garret the boost and the blowers ability to move more air.

Time to upgrade to the F3R!

not to mention... on a "4.13 pulley-blower" which is the same one I have on mine...

Didnt even know you can achieve that much boost on that size pulley?

Yup. 20psi is 20psi when you have a huge blower. The F1R is capable of making more HP then the F1 & F1-A/F1-C

A 106mm turbo on a 347 @ 20psi will make close to the same power as a 408 with 20psi, the torque will be different though.

Also he never mentions his lower pulley size.

His blower is not the same as yours he has the F1R which is bigger. Chris was also saying his lower pulley, which is the crank pulley might be bigger, Or he could have typed it wrong. The car did make the power and it will run the number, just watch he is going to go easy mid nines with traction.

F1R is a pretty nasty blower so you have to keep that in mind since you dont run the same blower as him, also if guys like Jim Moran and Dave Diluca are posting in that thread and aren't calling b.s or questioning it, then I wouldn't doubt it for a second that it did make those numbers. Those two guys know their ****

As Tiago gracefully hinted, boost doesn't mean ****. Its all about the airflow, or CFM going through an engine, a la airpump. Talking boost is like comparing 0-60mph times out of magazines. Talking CFM is like talking 1/4mi times.

Good question T.

F1C: 1850 max CFM
F1R: 2000 max CFM

Chris I know the difference and did the research before dumping 8 grand into the procharger setup.

F1C has a ramp rate which has been described (by Procharger) as the "closest blower to a turbocharger". The power and tq apparently come with a turbo-like punch.

- The F1 and F1R are more like traditional superchargers in the way they perform.

- Please note: -

I am by no means slamming him and not saying the car is fast, I am surprised and baffled with the setup he is running to achieve the power it is making.

Well don't pay attention to the boost number as it isn't relative. His smaller motor will show more boost already and it is really all in the setup heads and cam and well the tunning can be the most significant change depending on how aggressive they want to get with it, but ofcourse that can take its toll in the life of the motor etc... I did see his numbers, but didn't read in detail about the car. And one other thing I don't see what kind of dyno that is, but you know there can be pretty big differences in those two.

Boost is only measuring restriction and nothing more...

That Turbo like feel with a blower has got to be the dumbest thing on Prochargers website.

Much more agressive tune and I am sure there are other things not noted for his dyno pulls.

Track numbers will be the proving grounds for his car (It has performed VERY well before so doing it again should not be a problem) so we can go by that...

Dyno's are "TOOLS" for tuning and NOTHING more...

For instance Garett, I did the power to weight for your Z06. And with a 139mph trap speed @ 3400lbs, you will be around 720 hp.... Just depends on how you look at things.
