This is about what mine looks like, with a little more yellow to the paint and centerline wheels.

It is an aftermarket console slap shift. I can't remember if it's b&m or hurst, I want to say b&m quicksilver? All bolted up to a 727 Torqueflite 3-speed. And to go along the the 727 is a nice little 273 under the hood. It's about on its last leg, hence the new 318 waiting to go in.

I'm not sure of the details of the internals just yet. I have to sit down with my brother to find out all that he has done to it. I do know that it will have a Vic Jr. intake and a Predator Carb. Here are some sorry camera phone pics that I took yesterday:

Nothing done to the car yet. And yes those are TTi headers! No more rubbing problems for the A-body! I do have new spindles for disc brakes for the front and also new beefier control arms. I will have to do some converting in order to stick with the centerlines though. I am a big fan of centerline wheels on this car. Most folks can't stand them.

Next step is to tear down all of the chrome and interior and send it off for paint. I wonder what it's going to cost me to get painted?

I'd say somewhere around $5,000.00 to paint it right.

Good choice on the exhaust! After 2 sets of hookers I bought my TTi's a few years ago and I love them, ground clearance is no long as issue at they make power to boot!

I have the same wheels on my Duster! Does your car have the small lug pattern? The 5 x 4.25?

I'm not sure Pat? I'll have to check on that, off the top of my head, I want to say yes.

Yes that's right, and I think that they are reversed threads as well.

And that bare block is a future 383 stroker motor that my wife is wanting to build and put into a Camaro or Chevelle

If you were to do a 180 in that picture there are two bare block 273s waiting for Mopar bodies. Actually there is a running 273 in the Barracuda right now. What am I going to do with 3 273s???

I'm telling you guys, my brother was feeling some family love that day he called and told me that he had a few things he wanted to give me.

Quick Reply: I just got a 1968 Barracuda!
