Default So unbelievably ticked off....

So it's a nice sunny day, not a cloud in the sky, and me and my father go out back to play with my two Pitbulls. The larger older one, Apollo, and the new puppy, Chevy. And what do we find? Apollo lying near the fenceline, dead, and surely poisoned. This pisses me off to no ******* end, as it's the second dog that's just up and keeled over within a year. RIP Apollo.

No ****, I'm afraid to put the other back outside in fear of the same thing happenin' with her. Apollo was the nicest dog ever, got along with everyone, and everything. Hell, he grew up with a chihauhau and a daschund as his playmates and never had a problem. Just pisses me off, and if I catch the person(s) who did it, I'm gonna return the favor.

If you return the favor do it nice and slow. Poisoning another mans dog is sub human. They would have to restrain me if anyone ever did that to my dogs. Hope you find them.

Same kind of thing happened to one of mine right before Christmas. Except the bastard shot him in the shoulder from behind and we had to have him put down the day after Xmas. Almost blew his whole right shoulder/leg off. He was the most laid back, calm dog I've ever had. Scared of strangers too. I know what you're feeling..I still haven't found out who did it to mine, but God help them if I do.

Thats terrible man.

Not saying your baby wasn't poisoned, because people are sick these days. However, second in a year, any chance theres something in your yard other than grass? Something that maybe the breed is allergic to? Something possibly seeping up through the ground? Just check out all your options, and definately get some cameras in case it IS some lowlife killing them.

Best of luck to you man...

Yeah check the yard man! Also do you know your neighbors? Had any problems with them before? Ask them about it without making accusations and see how they act....

Sorry to hear about that Chris. I have two Amstaffs and had to threaten the gas meter reader one day when he was trying to spray one of my dogs with pepper spray from the other side of the fence. I video taped him for about 15-20 sec from the kitchen window, then I went through the garage which has a door opening about 10 ft behind where he was standing. He wasn't wearing a uniform (contract labor) and I asked him what he was doing in my yard and messing with my dogs. He answered every question with the utmost politeness(must have had something to do with the .357 magnum I was holding.) And when the police arrived(called them by cell phone, told them I had an intruder in my yard) I showed them the video. He recieved a ticket for cruelty to animals, and his supervisor called me the next day and apologized and informed me that the worker in question had several complaints logged against him, and that he no longer worked there! Justice baby! ! ! Sorry for the long rant, but I know how you feel, all of my animals are a part of my family. I hope you find out who it was. If you need help, i'll bring the blowtorch and pliers! ! ! !
