i thought you were "stock" but you got mostly all boltons cept headers.....i guess everyone has teir definition of "stock"

Ya, that joke was a stretch...sorry. No, I've never driven a stalled car but i'd be interested in riding in one. I saw a video of you lining up in the staging lanes and it looked like you gave it a tad bit of gas to line up and about pulled the front up...not really but you know what i'm saying. Wonder what it would be like on my car...

I ran a ~8.8 at kennedale a while back and I've raced a rear mount turbo car on the highway recently (car is ACTUALLY FACTORY STOCK except for tune). Talked with the guy, said he was running 6psi, made about 470 horsepower...he walked me like I was standing still .
Sounded good IMO, not a fan of the look of the air filter in the back though...(believe me, I got a good look at it while he was pulling away from me).

He said he was on LS1tech, didn't get his SN though. Red SS convertible in North Dallas.

I think he knows they don't bolt to the motor Tard Jr. A tq and gears are still a mod so Count in the conversation. The bolt-on thing is a way to try to not disclose them (which I think is great). Thats part of street racing Know who your getting beside. If you line them up and get beat go Pump it up and come back to get sum more. Nick keep Kicking that ***..

Hmm Dont know what vid your talkin about man, The car will move without even giving it gas, so i donno? Ill give you a ride sometime if you go to a wednesday night meet or something..I ran consistant 8.0 without the converter.. then with best is like 7.50, I need some tires But im happy with my results so far cant wait for the Lts and cam to go on!

The guy in the Red conv. is PDAN he is slow hahah WHERE ARE YOU PDAN???

Nah, stall and gears are tranny/rear end. Bolt ons are Exhaust/intake ****.

And for the record I did the big stall thing in my kast car, 99 Z28 with bolt ons and a Yank PT4000. That thing was a ****** blast on the street, but 3 4L60E's later I decided to move on lol. You can always tell when those bastards are going out, you get the 2-3 death chatter!

Oh yea and to nasty nate or whatever, I am sorry I didnt know YOUR a grammer teacher. I will try to talk better fer yoo frum nowz on!

That little button is making just as much as that kit is, and if you wanna look at it that way the sts cars are stock cars too. Power adder is power adder one way or another. I went from nitrous to the turbo for no other reason than having the power constantly and I guess the "tool" factor of having a rear turbo ls2 car.
Fixed for you.

An automatic car that makes the same rwhp or within say 50 rwhp of a M6 car will WALK all over the M6 car. Drivetrain loss is larger on an A4 but that means the thing is making some real power if you take the fact an m6 car is making 470 and a bolt on A4 car is making 370 just on motor with a mediocre cam he will drag that m6 car from a dig or a roll. Put a little bottle on a bolt on car and you get ~450ish...up in smoke STS car and similar.

I should be back up about August. Maybe sooner. Let me know when you get back up & we can run em for the fun of it. You can red light me. On my old setup with just Cam only I ran 7.26@94mph with a 1.5 60ft on BFG Drag Radials on 17s all around.

What cam are you looking at going with?

Nick you got a nice setup, and it obviously works, but NO2 is a power adder just like a turbo. But there is no magic to racing. If you beat a 500hp car there is reason why. Could be driving, setup (good or bad), power adders, problems, etc. iirc, the STS car admitted to having a bad clutch before the race and he only raced because you were talking a lot of disrespect to him. I dont know you, but I have to say its hard to respect someone that makes a callout thread to another person, constantly disrespects him and his car, and even continues after he said no due to his clutch. With enough NO2 Im sure you could take him even if his clutch was right, but bragging about beating a turbo car with a known clutch issue especially with NO2 is not really all that impressive. What do you have to prove? I dont see how you can disrespect a turbo car, but then somehow expect your slightly modded car to get respect. Just because you beat him on your own terms is not enough. Speed can always be done cheaper, but doesn't really mean anything. Some people prefer another setup, and its thier money, so who cares if $1000 beat $3000? Hell, if thats what you think makes a better setup, then I'll be glad to show you 2 of my race bikes that I have less than $6000 in and are easily capable of 9's and 190++.

One other thing I noticed, is that earlier you stated that HP isn't everything, which is true. So why all of the sudden is a stall and gears not part of the equation?

Either way, your car is fast and seems to be a good sleeper. If an F-body can even be considered a sleeper.
