SCAM on LS1 tech ? This was in my Inbox Today. Has anyone else had this happen to them yet?

Its a nigerian scam. It seems like most scams lead back to the nigerians.
One person that was caught on TV said that they only need like 1% of the people that contact to actaully fall for the scam to make a lot of $$.

What happens is you open a legit. account and they send you a check to deposit into your acount. When you deposit the check they then tell you to take out X amount of dollars and wire it to them or send them a money order and you get to keep the rest as a fee for helping them out. Well as everyone knows you can deposit a check to your account and in "some" cases you can withdrawl the money befor it clears. Well when the check clears and bounces you owe the bank what you took out. It happned to a dudes Dad my girlfriend works with......twice
