Question which would you Pick???????

Have the option to put a low milage LS6 in my car, or go with the LS1 with headers and cam heads all the bolt ons. If i get the Ls6 all the little added goodies are gonna have to wait... Its gonna max out my budget.

so chime in on what you all think is the best way..

Me leaning towards the LS6

Personally, I would go towards the ls6. Yes, it won't be as much now as a modden ls1... but can make up for it later

I believe the main difference between the LS1 and LS6, besides the block, is just the heads and cam. LS1 would be cheaper.

Default $$$$$$$$$$$

LS1 - @ 6,000 COMPLETE 40,000 MILES

LS6 - @ 9,500 COMPLETE 21,000 MILES

seems that LS1 with cam/head and boltons, tune = HP/money saved

Still checking on other options

Thanks for the replies.

Dude, for 9500 you can build an engine. I priced one out with advice from Noyze and it would be right around that. It would be an ls2 block with all the fun stuff, ohh and capable of handling a 300 shot.
