I am getting ready to put a set on my car. Why are the Kooks worse??? I have heard that they fit well?? Is it something about the routing of the tubes in relation to steering shaft or K-member??

Sorry for the hijack..

I had to comment on the shop supplies Elite. $50.00 aint much. Look at it like this. You have to use some type of rust lubricant for the bolts, anitsieze on the plugs, dielectric grease on the wires, shop towels, hand soap, and other assundary items. I am not going to comment on the rest of the bill but the shop supplies seem right.

at least they didn't charge you for removing the old plugs in order to put in the new ones

I thought $50.00 was high Brian but then again I'm not a shop owner, I think $20.00 sounds fair. I wonder if they charge every customer $50.00 for shop fees? No response from Conleys yet either.

I only disagree with this comment in this way. If your charging $50 per customer that would add up quick to alot of products. I use lawson to stock my shop and know for a fact what the cost is. But everyone is different. Now if it is a huge job then of course.

He obviously didn't get any grease when they gave him the bill, it's a pretty shady hand written receipt.

I hope that he's learned from getting his car worked on by someone else.

Hmmm, per car----rust lubricant = .10 cents, antisieze = $2.00, grease = $3.00, shop towels = .15 cents, soap = .05 cents, other items (broom to sweep floor-trash bags....never been charged a "shop fee") You dont need a mathematician to explain to you that $5.30 is not the same thing as $50. A SHOP FEE????? Everything they buy is in bulk, WHAT A JOKE!

yeah I have. I had LMR give me an exact quote on what I wanted to do next to avoid this again. I just don't want this to happen to anyone else!
