Here is our pit mix ( i think with rhodesian ridgeback or something like that) that was rescued on her last day to live from the shelter and my mini doxi playing. The pit is the sweetest and smartest dog ever and much more well bahaved than my 4lb doxie! ( the pit is a chubby monkey at 70lbs or so)

Here's my Australian Cattle Dog (a.k.a. Blue Heeler), Shiner, who is named after my favorite beer, of course. He's 21 months now, but these pictures are more like 15 months. He's a bit small for the breed - only about 45 pounds when they are typically 45-60. He's a great dog... very loving, extremely smart. He's protective of the house, though, so if he doesn't know the people we're having over, we keep him in the back yard.

Autumn, 2 years old, 20" head, 75lbs

Honey, 13 months, 19.5" head, 75lbs
Hagen, first dog of them all, 10 months and 75lbs, still growing.
There's more and more, but I really dont feel like going on, it's all on our website, www.tootuffkennels.com
Had 2 breedings so far, and 2 more coming this year. Pups are up for reserve now, just check out the site if anyone is interested, pedigrees and such are up too.

I wish I could post pics of our dog, but we don't have one :-(
Before I relocated to Tx I had a German Shephard, but it was also the family's dog, so naturally when I moved here in June I couldn't bring her with me :-(
We've been wanting to find a small-mid sized dog that is good in apartments but haven't found anything affordable. We don't care about AKC or purebred or whatnot, we just really want to fill the emptiness of this apartment! And the pound, from what i've heard, even charges a pretty large sum.. so I guess there aren't really any other options, are there? Do y'all know of any other places where we could find listings of "free to a good home" dogs?

I have the perfect dog for you...she is house broken and free. She is a chow mix. She is also a good guard dog.
I think she will be perfect in an apartment. I have to keep her tied up because she can scale my 6' fence. I hate having her tied up but I am afraid that she might get hit by a car or picked up by the pound.
PM if you're interested.

My 3.
Xena..2 year old Female Boxer--about 50 LBS and hyper and atheletic as hell.
Jessie..6 year old Female American Staffordshire Terrier--about 55-60 LBS, yeah she's a little on the fat side, but smart as they come.
And my Boy Dozer..8 months old, (younger in these pics). He is a Hybrid..part American Bulldog and part Boxer--right now he's about 60-65LBS, strong as an ox, but the laziest dog you've ever met. He likes to lay in the recliner with me. LOL.
I'll try and post some recent pics of Dozer soon.
