Had mine done. Tore it playin Football(as seems to be the norm). I should have never had the operation. I think it was the athletic equivelant of the "wallet mod". Never been the same AND I am apparently allergic to Codine, which meant I was hating life.
When im working on my car, I cant sit my right knee on the ground and it always hurts when rain comes in, or in the cold.......and Im only 27....

I have heard rehab is the most important to a full recovery. Did you follow all the doctors orders, or maybe your doctor wasn't as good as you thought he was? No being an *** or anything, but most people that I know have had a successful recovery.

Well, it just depends on what you do. I have a hard time believing that anyone has had a 'successful recovery'(translation: good as new)IF they go back to the more physical activities(football, wrestling); as I know many others who have had the very same proceedure and never been the same. I wish ya the best, Im just giving you a heads up. Not everything is as simple as it seems.

I could go play football right now and not have second thoughts about what I was getting myself into.

I had a great rehab session. The workouts were easy and not very strenous.

Good luck with the rehab sleek silvy. McChesney is a great doc. He did the same surgery on my sisters knee back in high school and reset my hand when I broke it at the hunting lease !
