Window Motor Help.
Window Motor Help. i need to know how hard it is to change out the window motor and if anyone knows where i can find a write up on it. i just bought the window motor from advance auto parts and was debating wether i should do it myself or pay someone to do it.

There ya go man. This is the exact writeup I used and it's great. It walks you through with detailed pics and info. Keep the thread up if you need any other help since you may run into a problem. Just be careful with your door panel because clips are notorious for breaking

The new motor should come with new hardware. They are the freakin most annoying little bitches to. The bolts are so tiny you think you'll never get the nut on and everything but keep trying and you will...lol. It would be cool to have a rivet gun for that project...

There is also a good writeup floating around that shows you how to rebuild the motor. Its really simple but it doesn't retain the auto off on the drivers window once it bottoms out and I just knew that if I rebuilt mine I or someone else wouldn't realize that and catch something on fire...lol.
