Why are KB Cobras so Slow??

Hmmmm Where are these guys?? Maybe on motor they beat me, I dont spray all the time.. Where are they and when do they want to run??

i dont think he meant the svt guys are saying they beat you but that they beat the kb cobra you raced

here you go I copied it and paste it from SVTperformance:

Nick, take the MS4 cam out of your car and try a bigger one. Then you'll be fast Also, up it to a 200 shot verses 175 you're at now .

haha is that JKD or whatever... haha he backed down from a race with me he didnt even want me to race with them.. I have said LEts race many times but he always turns the conversation to fighting??! Its a SC Coupe mustang right?? What board is this ill go on there..

Depends on the port job, the tune, and most importantly the weather!!

Cobras lose huge power once they heat up or the weather turns warm/humid. A 30 degree increase in temp was good for minus 40rwhp on my car.

Just goes to show, a Cobra might make 500+ on a dyno sheet, but if it's hot out there could be a reason you're keeping up better than normal.

It was ported by whatever the company is that is like the most well known company that offeres this service, I forget the name of the company. His tune is on point too, plus he runs at Atco, NJ which was great DA. The run was in the spring in NJ.

I drove the car and its fast, I just would think it would turn better track times.

That is strange, my buddy Wally had a similar set up and went sub 11.50's @126 on Nitto DR's. Maybe he's afraid of breaking the IRS?

I don't know what to tell you other than his setup has been proven to go MUCH faster in other cars.
