I saw a news report earlier now that says that the people were cleared of any wrong doing.
That the little girl was acting out a part from a horror movie and has been returned to her family.The girl even repeated the act for child protective services.Hmmmm...

after careful observation, i've decided that it's fake as well.
The girl breaks character several times and giggles, however the older chicks in the car are still idiots and should be beaten with a cane.

She didn't know WTF she was doing. She was 'rollin' as they keep saying!!! I am horrified at this. Not to mention the baby & her w/out seatbelts. I can't imagine a fitting punishment for what went on here. I never saw 'cleared of charges' anywhere, but I did see & hear PENDING. . .

My friend went through a seperation some years back and every lawyer told him the same thing when it came to custody of his son,"Texas ALWAYS sides with the Mother".
A Mother could be smoking crack,pimpin' herself out on the corner and SOMETIMES feed the kid and that Mother will always get custody over the Father here in Tx.
Even if guilty,I don't think the girls in the video will get much.They have to actually prove that the girls gave the little girl the drugs.And to top it ALL off,minors can get away with murder (in some cases literally).

My father in his first marriage was able to keep my brothers after the divorce. She fought but I do not think too hard. He gave her everything (paid for house, paid for car) but at least he got his boys.
Recently my brother-in-law after fighting for years, and a monetary contribution from my sympothising father, was able to gain full custody of his son from his first marraige.
Although very very hard, it is possible. Hope this gives hope to someone.

I've had custody of my daughters for the last 8 years and trust me a woman can be proven unfit just like a man can. My ex wife still to this day cant get her **** together but it all boils down to the stability of the children and whats best for them.

I dont completely agree with that. My ex failed an at home **** test and then passed a CPS test 3 hours later for cocaine. I know she took a drink from a head shop but the govt test should be a little better than that. I went to a lawyer after my ex tried to commit suicide last June and he told me that it would be extremely difficult to get custody since no cops were called and she never went into rehab. He told me that it would be a 60% chance if I coughed up 10 g's right then. Now if the custodial parent messes up and gets caught, then no problem but if there is no hard evidence then the St of TX sides with the mother probably 90% of the time.
Also, it was kindof hard for me to do much considering I was 9,000 miles away in Iraq at the time.

It IS and I will repeat IS VERY HARD for the Father to get the courts to grant custody.I have seen it OVER and OVER.
YOU are a RARE exception to the norm....
BTW I applaud you for stepping up and being a Dad to your girls...Its surprising how few men will do that.
