Default Let the modding begin

Well i get my first check next friday. So what to do so far i came up with some induction ideas for my car. BTW my check is 300 dollars yea i kno way low but they're only paid us for this week next check will be higher.

K&N airfilter and a 1LE elbow. any other ideas

Not a bad idea i thought about that but my mom says i would'nt get much for it. So i was like ****. Ok im serious now what should i do.

Ok im not goin to go all out on mods im just goin to do a couple of things. Like exhaust,headers and other things. Slick red z cant get the ls1 yet.

goodluck trying to get rid of that thing with mods on it, might as well tough it out and save up money and get something decent.

Mom doesnt want to get rid of it. For somereason. im not goin to go all out just a few bolt ons but not many.

To improve driveability im just trying to make it lil better. also to improve the gas mileage a bit (thats the point)

Spark plugs. still deciding on NGK or AC DELCO

CAI with the 1LE elbow

I wouldnt do anything to that car. Also... You want to improve gas mileage? The cost of all these parts are going to surpass your "gas savings".

by the way... what happened with all the "im getting an ls1 soon" posts. LOL.

imma tell you what happend. you see i was originally goin to get a camaro ss forgot the yr but i thing it was a 01. At the last min my mom changed her mind to sell the lt1. So the ss went away from my hands but I have a job now. that pays well and i can get a ls1 , its just that i want to do a lil bit to my lt1.

BTW i hear some mods help gas mileage.

true some mods do help gas mileage... but the gain is minimal IMO.

How many miles does your car have on it by the way?
and whats the point of modding a car you want to get rid of? That money can be put towards getting an ls1. And even if you were going to keep that car. I wouldnt mod it.

lol ha you kno your goin to laugh when i tell you this. 260,000 ish miles and i cant get rid of it. so i might as well make it better and its sort of a thing i wanted to do since my dad passed it on to me IDK.

Maybe i should save up for a ls1. BTW its glad to hear something that isnt a insult from you.

260k? I would 100% not even think about modding that car. There are prob so many worn out parts on that car. have anymore pics of it? how many miles did you have on it when you bought it and for how much? just wondering.

Didnt buy it lol its been part of the family since it first came out. When my dad died it was given to my sister and thats when the abuse happend then it came to me. I hated it but i learned what i had and fell in love with it. Found this site fell even more in love with it.

get the ac delco plugs .... dont worry about what anyone has to say.... i can get you the filter and plugs for a good price ill let you know tomorrow ..... so be looking back to see what price i tell you ok.... also you might want to drop by and get some ignition wires from msd might spend about $70 on msd wires and if we have the k&n filter and ac delco iridium plugs i can maybe have them for you for about 60 bucks and of course brand new you know where i get my stuff from...... l8r
