Dallas doesn't really have any "unique" dining places. I have not been to Bobs, but Kirbys is pretty damn good too!!! If you like Sushi, there is the Blue Fish... or you can go all out ... Tokyo One, all you can eat sushi for $25.
As for stuff to do, there is Speedzone.... but ahhhh not much else. Keep this in mind... the only city with a higher homosexual population in the US is San Francisco. So if you dont want to get hit on, stay away from Uptown. Head to the north side of Dallas, some pretty nice stuff in the Plano/Allen/Grapevine areas.
