WOW!

At least ya'll are ok!

I guess I'm ignorant, i didn't know that a deer could do THAT much damage.

You should have gotten some meat out of it! COuld have sold it to help pay for the damage on the GTO!!

i saw your car when you were leaving didn't see you or your runs we must have been on opposite sides of the line. And yes track prep was ****, i ran a 13.7 at 109 spinning through firts and second. I quit after my third run cause the car next to me (old rx7) lost it (on slicks i might add) and rammed into the wall. I thought he was gonna nail me but i got lucky. Hubert ran a 13.1 on drag radials and nitrous, one of the ls2 GTO's ran a 14.1 something it was pretty bad.

another moderator pointed this thread out to me. sorry to see man. last october i was leaving the track and got blindsided by one. hit the bumper and released the hood which went through my windshield. wasn't pretty. had to start over with the paint on the car etc, which is why i'm on my second custom paint scheme.

If you think hitting a deer is bad think about those people that live where there are elk. A deer weighs anywhere from 110-200 pds an elk ways around 800 pds or more. It would be like hitting a cow.

i remember a few years back i was commin home and traffic was really bad on this one country road by my house. When we finally got to where the accident was turned out a guy in a mustang came up over a hill and ran right into the middle of a huge *** cow. The cow exploded on impact, there were chunks everywhere, and the smell was pretty horrible. Needless to say the car was totaled.
