Not through experience of my own, but a close friend of mine whom I speak with daily, but it seems if you drop of a car to have a motor built, expect a solid 3-4 month wait. Not to mention not being suprised when 2-3 months after the first build, the motor takes a dive.
They do warranty **** though. I'll give'em that.

I have found that it is not good practice to assume anything. FIrst rule get it in writing and then read the writing. Typically a lifetime warranty is only required for the company that issues such warranty. The new owners can elect to honor the warranty and that would be great customer service, but you must understand the old owners have already collected and spent the money. How long would you stay in business if you were giving it away and not realizing any income, but only expenses. You cannot expect the new owners to honor those warranties.
