thinking of geting a new cam..question..
. my qusetion is; i have "blue striped" 918 springs i know there good for .600 lift but Texas-Speed advertises them at good for .625, what do you think i would never try it but im considering maybe max .61x lift wat do you guys think? and on that note if you got a cam post it up perfribly in the 23x-24x duration@.050 on either side and good lift. also on a lil higher duration like 113-114 my dad doesnt want anything to "noisy and mean" or i would just put my old cam back in.
Ive got a 236/242 615/609 on a 110lsa. Its geared towards max effort in a way but drives great in the hands of the right tuner. Hits the idle when cold on first try. PM for more details and I will spec you a cam for your setup.
7.8's on a stock street tire, this cam, 3500 TCI stall on 2.73 gears. Car has headers, TSP y-pipe with cats and a corsa catback. No cutout. Not too shabby for a full weight cam only A4.
