And yes there are plenty of nice horsepower LSX daily driven! just gotta find em, just like you have to find the cobra owners. just my .02
Fox bodies put power down better than any F-Body, and yes you will beat a stock cobra with a cam, but a full bolt-on car will trash cam only cars. In fact most STRONG running heads cam cars can't take a full bolt on cobra. Who's been lying to you guys?

Who knows.. lol Nah, it went high 11's on street tires two years ago.

It's pretty quick, faster than my old Cam/bolt-on Z06 by a long shot, but you have to remember my car doesn't have all the bolt-ons. Not even close actually.

_Zac and full exhaust LS1s FTMFW.

_Zac do not waist your time with people who think 03/04 pullied Cobras are slow. That just proves they do not know what they are talking about. All it takes is intake, exhaust, pulley, and tune to make over 500 easy rwhp on the 03/04 Cobras. This is common knowledge for anyone that has been in the game longer than 1 day.

I respect 03/04 Cobras all day. And I can defend myself pretty well.

Very true, but I don't think of it as wasting time, I think of it as helping them to understand. Educating people about the dark side is always fun, and sometimes I even get to convert a few people! lol

Eh lol.. thats stock to me besides weight lol.. not bad for a 6 speed car on street tires.. Next came a baby cam, headers, 12 bolt, sticky tires, and it ran a best of 11.41@122

Sure it would pick up with a stalled a3

and that still isn't as fast as a stock terminator

Now this is where the ls1 guys get into the whole, put a blower on the ls1 and see who is faster

Its gonna go back and forth on this thread, and back and forth in life forever on the ford vs. chevy deal.

I respect those cars and thought about buying one. Complete forged bottom end will take a lot of abuse from the factory, plus get reliable power for a solid daily driver. Cant go wrong with that. That honestly to me is one of the best motors Ford has built in a very long time!

But, Im still a GM guy all the way

you could also give the mustang about 70 more cubic inches to see as well.

If you want to go the add a super charger to a Ls1 route.

I still am, and though I love F-bodies I'm done owning them. Vettes are the only way to roll Chebby these days. (Foot in mouth for 09 camaro)

Guys, I own both! The WS6 is sweet and my mustang is for driving to work and fun. Stock to stock my WS6 would eat my GT up. BUT, I really like driving both. It`s not always about speed and power! I put more miles on the GT because of fuel and don`t want to put alot of miles on my WS6! My WS6 is a 01 and only has 29k on her. And she is a low 10 second car easy for a daily driver if I want it to be, I want to keep her for ever-lol! Plan on doing alittle to the ford just for fun! But I`m a true GM at heart!!

Haha dont make me start the chevy 350 vs ford 351 wars haha.. No honestly i built all of them and just depends on combo.

I like the style of the fords coming out, but I cant stand driving the formula around now. If you want to go fast, noise goes up, and comfort goes out the window.

Im def. in the hunt for the new camaro. Not worried about mods or anything with that car..
Looking for style and comfort. May look into the cadi also

Nah, you cant let one car solely convert you!! haha

You have to drive a few different makes of the ford first. Like I said before, I would buy one and still may.
