I duno, probably a few months, although the only place I have it posted is here and Craigslist. Not sure if prices are different in Texarcana (sp?), but we're in Houston. I also have a few hundred dollars in the bike as well and would be willing to help out with taxes. IE: State that it sold for X amount as opposed to what it really sold for.

So I looked into putting it on Ebay and its going to be like $55 to list it the way I set it up. Then it looks like another $40 if it sells. So basically $100.
I also looked on Cycletrader.com and to advertise the bike on both the internet and magaize, I'm looking at $97.
What should I do? I need this bike sold, out of my garage, and out of my hands.

You can get a new one for what your asking.

I'm asking what the bike is worth. NADA lists $92XX and KBB lists it for $8800. Not the mention that I have a few hundred dollars into it. The bike's MSRP is $11000. I walked out of the dealership right at $12000 even with tax, title, license, and helmet. The bike is definitely worth $9000. Its immaculate to say the least, with only 1,400 miles.

I think u can sell it for 9k, just need a better medium such as ebay. This site & craigslist are free sites, they dont quite get the hits ebay does. Suck it up and pay the ebay fee. I sold my 06 gix 1k for 10k on ebay about 2 months ago. (that bike had ton of mods, 2800 miles) good luck

I will pay money to get my bike sold, but should I spend it on Cycle Trader or Ebay? Both are about $100. Cycle Trader will be listed both online and in the magazine. Ebay will be online only of course. I'm just trying to decide which one would have the most luck selling. Also, Cycle Trader is 4 weeks and Ebay is 21 days.

I would probably do Cycle Trader.
I understand where you are coming from not wanting to lower the price, but when it really comes down to it price is going to be more about what someone else is willing to pay & how bad you want to get rid of it, not what NADA & KBB say its worth. In some instances people are willing to pay more than what something is worth. just my $.02

CamaroCain, I understsand. When I first listed the bike, I was asking $9500, then $9300, $9200, and now $9000 even. I paid $12k walk out with the helmet and its just so hard to let go of something so new and hardly used for $3000 less. I just wanted to at least get what its worth.
BAD FNZ, I never got around to getting gear. I didn't ride it that much to invest in it, although gear (helmet, jacket, and gloves) should be a minimum. I'll include the helmet though. Its super nice, it was like a $2xx helmet.

Damn, still got it for sale. Im just posted mine up on sale here. Will post up on other mediums later this week if nothing. I owe slightly over KBB and NADA on mine, but I had it for 8 months, so not to bad. As mentioned, if you want some attention for potential buyers, definately start posting in somewhere in the 8XXX range or try some other sites. By the way, you can buy a bike under MSRP out the door in the state. Just takes some research. Best I have done is $1200 under MSRP out the door, 5 miles from my house.
